Mitered pipe along a polyline

Run a constant polygon cross-section along a polyline with miter joints, so walls stay flat and the volume equals cross-section times centre-line length. Use it for ducts, plumbing, frames and wiring.

Limits to consider

Sharp corners (turning more than about 120 degrees) make long miter spikes; corners closer than the radius overlap. Use profile_sweep or a tube for smooth bends. The cross-section is a regular polygon centred on the path.
